Jennifer was born in a small rural town in Wisconsin as the daughter of two educators. She pursued her passion for science and her love for animals at the University of Wisconsin Madison, culminating in her degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing small animal veterinary medicine in Michigan, she returned to southeast Wisconsin. Jennifer now resides in Grafton with her husband, also a veterinarian, as well as their four young children and a menagerie of animals. As a new member of the board, Jennifer identifies with young, busy families, as she remains active in her children’s school and extracurricular activities. During quiet moments, her hobbies include gardening, furniture restoration, and bird watching.
