April has taught in the Grafton School District for 12 years and lives in Grafton as well. She is one of the founding members of the Grafton Education Foundation. April will work as part of Grafton School District's new 4K program where one will find a 2014 GEF grant in action this fall. When not teaching, gardening, cheering at her daughter's sporting and music events, or at home with her family, April serves as an active community volunteer at Our Savior Church, John Long Middle School, and US Bank events with her husband, Craig.

Tammy Taylor, Director

Upon completion of graduate school, Tammy Taylor started working for the University of Wisconsin System. Currently, she is an Administrator in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning where she has been the recipient of Building Block Awards and the STAR Award. She serves on several committees and most recently joined the Wisconsin Architects Foundation Board. An Iowa native with a philanthropic spirit and a passion for academia, Taylor brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail with the community based projects she is involved with. She has been involved with GEF in various roles from the beginning and recently has taken on the role as Director. In addition to her involvement with GEF she has been an active member of the Grafton Elementary School PTA where she has spearheaded various fundraising efforts and special events the last six years. Tammy and her husband Tim are proud parents of Grant and have resided in Grafton the last thirteen years. In her spare time she enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and 

friends.
