Tracy has been a Communication Arts teacher at Grafton High School for 10 years. Her daily teaching philosophy is to improve students’ reading, writing and listening skills so they will leave GHS and be smart, capable 21st century citizens. She teaches English 9, English 10 and Professional Writing. In addition she serves as Yearbook adviser, co-adviser of the brand-new school news magazine The Black Hawk Times, and co-adviser of the school’s award-winning literary magazine Accipiter. Tracy has been awarded two grants from the GEF; one for Accipiter and one for The Black Hawk Times.

 

Tracy has an English degree from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Cardinal Stritch. She and her husband Ryan, a Social Studies teacher and Cross Country and Track coach at GHS, have two children who are growing up much too quickly! Between teaching, coaching, publications advising and raising two kids the Brogelman's work as a team to be happy, healthy and enjoy all the aspects of their lives.
